Meet the Charleston Family Planning Center staff
Kaylee Beals, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Kaylee is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at the Charleston Family Planning Center. Graduating in 2023 from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree. Kaylee also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing and an Associate of Science in Pre-Nursing from Lake Land College. Her nursing background is in emergency medicine where she spent time taking care of patients of all ages, but she fell in love with women’s health during her clinical rotation. Growing up in the area, Kaylee has a passion for being able to provide care for others in this community.
Taylor Chamberlain, DNP, APRN, CNM, WHNP-BC
Taylor is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at the Charleston Family Planning Center (CFPC). She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2023. She also has a Master of Science in Nursing from UIC and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining CFPC, she has experience as a Registered Nurse in labor & delivery and mother/baby settings, and as an instructor with UIC College of Nursing. Raised in East Central Illinois, Taylor has a passion for rural health and providing accessible reproductive healthcare in downstate Illinois.

Kyla Ohm
Kyla has been in healthcare for several years. She attended Lakeland College where she graduated with and Associates Degree in Medical Assisting and received her Medical Assistant certificate from the NHA. Kyla has a passion for reproductive health in this area, having been a young mother herself, she values helping others find the resources they need.
